This week Rimmel is 40% off at Rite Aid, plus there is a manufacturer coupon online that saves you $1 per product. I figured this would be a great time to try out some more face products from Rimmel. I’ve tried and really like their Matte face powder. This time I purchased their Matte BB cream and their Stay Matte foundation. I have oily skin so I love matte products.
Savings: Reg price $6.49 BB cream & $4.99 Stay Matte foundation (price varies by drugstores, Ulta was slightly cheaper but was not having a 40% off sale) Sale price after the coupons was $2.89 for the BB cream & $1.99 for the foundation. Total savings was 58%!
The Nivea Men post shave balm has been a highly talked about product on Youtube over the past several months. I was interested when I first heard this aftershave product worked as a makeup primer but didn’t run out and purchase it right away. When I received a manufacturer coupon in the mail for $2 off a Nivea men’s product I decided it would be a great time to try it out.
This does work to keep my makeup on throughout the day. It’s a very lightweight texture and goes on like a thin moisturizer, not like a silicone primer. A little bit goes a long way so I imagine this product will last several months before the bottle runs out and for only $3, WOW totally worth it. I have oily acne prone skin and this does not irritate my skin or make me break out.
I’ve been using the KEURIG Vue machine for the past couple of years. And while I do like the machine itself I realized that Keurig isn’t making an extensive coffee selection to choose from in Vue –cups (the Vue machine doesn’t fit regular K-cups). With the new Keurig 2.0 I read that the machine fits different size k-cups, and any unused Vue cups that I have left will fit in this new machine.
So I started researching prices of the new Keurig machine. The best price I found was buying through the Keurig website. This video below gives a short demo of the new machine I purchased along with a walk through of how to purchase on the Keurig website to save 50%.
I have a bookshelf in my living room that I’ve always wanted to make look more decorative but never wanted to spend money on expensive book holders sold at retail stores.
Keurig machines are extremely popular and therefore people are constantly buying K-cups to use with their single serving brewers. Empty k-cup boxes are mostly thrown away or hopefully recycled. One day I came up with the idea to use the empty k-cup boxes from the coffee I love to drink to decorate my bookshelf with the books I love to read. I shopped around for a bit to find a decorative paper to use that would cover up the coffee words and would also match my home décor. I found what I was looking for at Michael’s but I’m sure other crafts stores with carry similar items.
I love that I was able to find such a good use for a commonly discarded item. So here’s my DIY for book holders for your bookshelves using empty K-cup boxes!
Spring is here! And so comes with it new spring clothing lines hitting stores. I recently visited Charming Charlie and tried on a whole bunch of cute dresses that they have out. I ended up wanting to purchase quite a few that I tried on. CC had a special coupon promo going on $10 off of $30 or $20 off of $60. That’s 33% off if you stick close to the $30 or $60 purchase.
I ended up breaking up my purchase into two transactions and using the coupon they mailed to me for one and the email code they sent out for the other (I have shopped at this store many times so they have my address and email). My total before the coupons would have come to over $120 so instead of getting only $20 off of $120, by breaking it into two transactions I ended up saving $40 ($20 each) plus I purchased a discounted gift card online and was able to save even more!
